Setup

Connected in three steps

  1. 1

    Create your feed links

In your dashboard open Integrations, then Google Sheets & Excel, and create the links with one click.

  2. 2

    Google Sheets: paste the formula

Copy the ready IMPORTDATA formula of a report and paste it into cell A1 of an empty sheet.

  3. 3

Excel: load it from the web

Copy the feed URL, open Data, then From Web, paste it and choose Load. Use Refresh All or a refresh schedule to keep it current.

Good to know

Live numbers, kept under your control

Fresh without work

Google Sheets refreshes the formula about once an hour while the file is open, and the data behind it is never more than 10 minutes old.

Private links

Each feed link carries a long secret. Anyone who has it can read that report, so share the spreadsheet, not the link.

Replace or turn off

One click gives you new links or turns the feed off. The old links stop working right away.

Your time zone

Dates follow the time zone of the browser you copy the links from, so your days start at your midnight.

Safe cells

Text that starts with =, +, - or @ is written so Excel and Sheets never run it as a formula.

Owner only

Only the account owner can create or see the feed links. Team members keep using the regular exports.

Three reports: all your links with clicks and status, clicks and unique visitors per day, and clicks per country. Each one has its own private link.

Google Sheets refreshes IMPORTDATA about once an hour while the file is open. In Excel you refresh with Refresh All or set a schedule in the query properties. The data behind the links is never more than 10 minutes old.

Yes. In the daily and country links change days=30 to 7, 90 or 365. The links report always lists your newest links, up to 5,000.

Yes, share the spreadsheet itself. Keep the feed link private, because anyone who has it can read that report. You can replace the links or turn the feed off at any time and the old links stop working right away.

Any tool that can read a CSV file from a web address can use the feed links, for example LibreOffice with Link to External Data, or your own scripts.

No. The feed links read the whole account, so only the account owner can create and see them.
