You can track up to 5 URLs per account, each with its own status, response time and uptime history.
Yes. You get an email the moment a monitor transitions from up to down (and again when it recovers). You can turn these emails on or off from your account notification settings. If you also want the same event delivered to your own system, add a webhook subscribed to the "Monitor is down" / "Monitor is back up" events from the Webhooks page under Tools.
A monitor is marked down when the URL does not return a successful response (a 2xx or 3xx status code) when checked.
Yes, uptime monitoring is included with your account at no extra cost, up to the monitor limit.
