Terms of Service

Last Updated August 17, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of minzo.link, including our website, dashboard, API, and all associated features (the "Service"), operated by [minzodotlink] ("minzo.link," "we," "us," or "our").

BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT, ACCESSING, OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, or if your account has previously been terminated by us for violation of these Terms.

2. Description of the Service
minzo.link provides tools that may include, without limitation:

Link shortening: creation of short links with optional custom aliases, custom domains, password protection, expiration (by date and/or click count), geo/device/language targeting, deep linking, A/B split-test rotators, UTM parameter building, and retargeting pixel attachment.
QR codes: static QR codes (text, vCard, WiFi, email, phone, SMS, crypto wallet) and dynamic, trackable QR codes (link, vCard+, WhatsApp, event/calendar, app deep links, hosted files), with customizable design.
Link-in-bio pages: customizable landing pages built from a library of content widgets.
Surveys: creation and hosting of custom survey forms and collection of respondent answers.
Uptime monitors: periodic, passive availability checks of URLs you specify, for informational purposes only (see Section 14).
Overlays and splash pages: pop-up and interstitial content attached to your links (contact forms, polls, messages, newsletter capture, images, coupons).
Campaigns and channels: organizational and link-rotation tools.
File hosting: upload and distribution of files, with optional password protection and encryption at rest.
API access, OAuth applications, and third-party integrations (Zapier, Slack, WordPress, Mailchimp, iOS Shortcuts).
Team accounts with granular, per-member permissions.
Analytics and reporting on the performance of your links, QR codes, and bio pages.
The specific features, usage limits (such as the number of links, QR codes, or bio pages you may create per month), and retention periods available to you depend on your current plan and are shown on your Billing page. We reserve the right to add, modify, limit, or remove any feature, limit, or retention period at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice.

3. Account Registration and Security
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account, and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at contact@minzo.link if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

If you use our Teams feature, you are responsible for the actions of every member you invite to your workspace, and for ensuring they comply with these Terms.

4. Free Plan, Paid Plans, and Donations
4.1 Free Plan. minzo.link currently offers use of the Service free of charge, subject to usage limits set and adjustable at any time by the Service administrator (as shown on your Billing page under "Global Limits" and "Plan Limits"). We do not guarantee that the free plan, or any specific limit within it, will remain available or unchanged in the future.

4.2 Advertising. Free-tier use of the Service may include the display of advertisements. Plans that include an "Advertisement-Free" feature will not display ads, as indicated on your plan's feature list.

4.5 Donations. Donations made to support the Service are voluntary and, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, non-refundable.

4.6 Refunds. Except where required by applicable law, all payments are non-refundable. Any refund requests will be assessed at our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to create, host, distribute, redirect to, or transmit any content or engage in any activity that:

a. Is illegal under applicable law, or facilitates illegal activity;
b. Contains, promotes, or links to malware, ransomware, viruses, phishing pages, or any other malicious code or deceptive scheme;
c. Constitutes spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or is used in violation of anti-spam laws;
d. Sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way; such content will be removed immediately upon discovery and reported to the relevant authorities and/or organizations, with zero tolerance and no prior warning;
e. Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property or proprietary right of any party;
f. Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory, or promotes violence against any individual or group;
g. Impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or entity;
h. Attempts to circumvent our security measures, rate limits, or usage restrictions, including through scraping, automated abuse, or credential stuffing;
i. Uses obfuscated or deceptive redirect chains intended to disguise a malicious or misleading final destination;
j. Involves fraudulent cryptocurrency wallet addresses, fraudulent payment requests, or financial scams delivered via QR code, link, or bio page;
k. Uses our surveys, overlay contact forms, or bio page forms to unlawfully collect personal data from visitors, including without providing legally required notices or obtaining legally required consent;
l. Uploads, via our file hosting or other features, any file you do not have the legal right to distribute;
m. Attempts to resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service or the API beyond what your plan or API key scope explicitly permits;
n. Creates a new account to evade a suspension or ban previously issued against you.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, and remove any content, and to investigate any suspected violation of this Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Content Moderation, Automated Scanning, and Enforcement
We use automated tools to scan submitted URLs and uploaded files for malware, phishing indicators, and other security threats, and we review content reported through our "Report a Link" and Contact forms. If we determine, in our reasonable discretion, that a link, QR code, bio page, file, or account violates these Terms or poses a security or legal risk, we may disable, suspend, restrict, or delete it, and/or suspend or terminate the associated account, at any time, with or without prior notice, and without liability to you.

Common enforcement outcomes include (but are not limited to) the link or content being marked as blocked for security reasons, or the associated account being suspended pending review. If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact us at contact@minzo.link to request a review.

7. Content Ownership and License
You retain all ownership rights in the content you create, upload, or submit through the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant minzo.link a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, and distribute Your Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, promote (in aggregate/anonymized form only, e.g. usage statistics), secure, and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and consents to submit Your Content and to grant the license above, and that Your Content does not violate any third party's rights or any applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property of the Service
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and trademarks (excluding Your Content), is owned by minzo.link and/or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service.

9. Copyright Infringement (DMCA-Style Notice and Takedown)
If you believe that content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to contact@minzo.link including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (b) identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location on the Service (e.g. the short link or bio page URL); (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.

We will review valid notices and may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. A party whose content was removed may submit a counter-notice with equivalent information disputing the claim. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers.

10. Third-Party Links, Redirects, and QR Destinations
The Service is fundamentally a tool for creating links, QR codes, and pages that point to destinations chosen and controlled by our users, not by us. We do not review, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, products, services, or practices of any third-party destination accessible through a short link, QR code, bio page, or overlay created using the Service. Accessing any such destination is at your own risk.

11. Third-Party Integrations and Services
Certain features rely on third-party services (including but not limited to payment processors, social login providers, Zapier, Slack, WordPress, Mailchimp, iOS Shortcuts, analytics providers, and pixel/retargeting platforms). Your use of those integrations is also governed by the respective third party's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service, and we may add, modify, or remove support for any integration at any time.

12. API Access
If you are issued API keys or register an OAuth application, you agree to: keep your credentials confidential; comply with any rate limits associated with your plan (a default limit applies unless your plan specifies otherwise); use the API only for purposes consistent with these Terms; and not attempt to exceed or circumvent your granted access scope. We may revoke API access at any time for suspected abuse, security concerns, or violation of these Terms.

13. Service Availability; Monitors Disclaimer; Modifications
13.1 No Uptime Guarantee. We do not guarantee that the Service, or any specific feature, will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may suspend the Service, in whole or in part, for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control.

13.2 Uptime Monitors Are Informational Only. Our uptime monitoring feature performs periodic passive checks and displays status/response-time information for informational purposes only. It does not currently send alerts, notifications, or warnings of any kind when a monitored URL goes down. You acknowledge that you must not rely on this feature as your sole means of detecting outages of any service you consider critical, and that we are not liable for any loss resulting from your reliance on it.

13.3 Modifications. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any feature of it (including plan limits, retention periods, and pricing), at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

14. Data Backups and Loss
While we may offer a temporary recovery window for deleted content as a courtesy (see our Privacy Policy), this is not a guaranteed backup service. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups or exports of any content, data, or files important to you (many features include CSV/PDF export tools for this purpose). We are not liable for any loss, corruption, or unavailability of Your Content.

15. Suspension and Termination
15.1 By You. You may stop using the Service and permanently delete your account and associated data at any time via your account settings.

15.2 By Us. We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, at our sole discretion, immediately and without prior notice, if: (a) you violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy; (b) required to do so by law; (c) your account is inactive for an extended period; (d) continued provision of the Service to you creates, in our judgment, legal or security risk; or (e) for any other reason, subject to any refund obligations under applicable law.

15.3 Effect of Termination. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete Your Content, subject to the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7 through 9, and 16 through 21) will survive.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICE OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MINZO.LINK, ITS OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) [5 EUR/USD], SINCE THE SERVICE IS OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE TO MOST USERS.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless minzo.link and its operators, employees, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) Your Content; (b) your use or misuse of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

19. Affiliate Program
If you participate in our optional affiliate program, your commission structure (percentage or fixed amount), payout method (via PayPal), minimum payout threshold, and eligibility are as displayed to you at the time of enrollment and may be modified by us at any time. We reserve the right to withhold or reclaim commissions, and to terminate your participation in the affiliate program, in cases of suspected fraud, self-referral, or abuse.

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at contact@minzo.link. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Your Country/State], unless otherwise required by applicable mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence.

21. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on the Service and/or sending an email to the address associated with your account, and will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

22. General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Force Majeure. We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet or infrastructure failures, or acts of government.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms presented to you at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and minzo.link regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements.
