Short link features

What is "Frame" mode when redirecting a link?

Last updated on August 15, 2026

By default, a short link redirects visitors directly to the destination URL, and the address bar updates to show that URL. Frame mode instead keeps your short link's address showing in the browser while displaying the destination page inside it, so your link stays visible the whole time.

If a destination site blocks this kind of embedding for security reasons, we automatically detect it and fall back to a normal direct redirect, so visitors are never stuck on a broken page.
