Question 1

Is there a way to support the platform financially?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have a dedicated Support Us page where you can make a donation to help keep the service running. It shows a live progress bar toward our current funding goal, so you can see exactly how contributions are adding up.You can reach it any time from the heart icon in the top navigation bar, and if you've donated, you'll get a receipt email confirming it (which you can toggle in your notification settings).

Do you send push notifications?

Not at this time. You'll receive updates through in-app notifications inside your dashboard and through email (for the alerts you've enabled in your notification settings), but we don't currently send push notifications to your phone or browser.

What is the heatmap on my account-wide analytics page?

Your account dashboard includes three different views that help you spot patterns in when your links get clicked, beyond just totals:Clicks by Hour: a bar chart showing how your clicks are distributed across the 24 hours of the day (based on the last 24 hours of activity), so you can see your busiest hour and time your posts accordingly.Clicks by Day of Week: a breakdown of clicks by weekday over the last 30 days, showing whether your audience is more active on weekdays or weekends.Calendar Heatmap: a 30-day grid, similar to a GitHub contribution graph, where each day is shaded darker or lighter based on how many clicks it received, giving you an at-a-glance view of your busiest and quietest days.Together, these help you figure out not just how many people are clicking your links, but when they're most likely to, which is useful for planning when to share new links or campaigns.

What events can trigger a Zapier or Slack notification?

Our Zapier and Slack integrations currently fire on two events: whenever a new link is created, and whenever one of your links is visited/clicked. You can use these as triggers to build your own automations, like posting new links to a Slack channel or logging clicks into a spreadsheet, without writing any code.

What notifications can I control from my account settings?

Accepted Answer

In your notification settings you can toggle: login alert emails (sent when your account is accessed), donation/payment receipt emails, general announcement emails, and the weekly or monthly survey response digest if you use the Surveys feature. Analytics report emails (see the earlier FAQ on scheduled reports) are controlled separately with their own frequency setting.

Can I make a link or Link in bio page private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Links and Bio pages can be set to public or private. A private one won't be indexed or listed publicly and is intended to be accessed only by people you directly share it with, which is useful for internal or unlisted content.

Question 7

I deleted something by mistake. Can I get it back?

Accepted Answer

Possibly. Deleted items are kept in a recovery area for a limited time (90 days) before being permanently erased, so accidental deletions aren't necessarily final. Reach out to support if you need help recovering something you removed by accident.

Question 8

What are the in-app notifications I sometimes see?

Accepted Answer

These are announcements sent out by our team directly inside your dashboard, things like new feature releases, maintenance notices, or important account information. You'll see them appear with a message and, often, a button linking to more details.A notification might be sent to every user, or targeted more narrowly, for example only to accounts on a specific plan, or to a single user regarding something specific to their account.

Can I install the dashboard like an app on my phone or computer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our dashboard supports installing it as a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can add it to your home screen or desktop and open it like a native app, without going through a browser tab every time.Keep in mind this is currently just a quicker way to launch the dashboard: it doesn't yet work offline or cache data for you, so you'll still need an internet connection to use it.

What's the difference between a QR code and a short link?

A short link is meant to be typed, clicked, or shared as text. A QR code is the same idea but scannable with a phone camera, perfect for posters, packaging, business cards, or storefronts.We support both static QR codes (for plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards, etc, these can't be tracked or edited after creation) and dynamic QR codes (linked to a URL you can update anytime, with full click tracking, custom colors, logos, and frames).
